Description:
This is the definitive photograph of Rancho Los Encinos
before it became a park. It is also a marvelous view of the wide
open San Fernando Valley just before it was subdivided for suburban
homes. Also notable are the bull dozer marks visible at the lower
right hand part of the photograph. This is where the Indian burial
mound had been until a few weeks before this picture was taken.
