Visiting The Park

ImageThe Visitors' Center in the Garnier Building is open for self-guided tours during regular park hours.

The newly-refurbished De la Ossa Adobe is available for free guided tours by appointment only or during some special events. Thank you for your patience as we deal with reduced staff.

School tours are available, please contact us to set up a time.(LosEncinos@parks.ca.gov )

The park is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and most state/national holidays.

You may enter the park via the Moorpark Street gate or the Ventura Boulevard gate. Both are open during regular park hours.

Hours are 10 AM to 5 PM. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.

Duck food is provided at our coin-operated dispenser. You are strongly discouraged from bringing bread as the ducks and geese can't properly digest the highly refined grains that people eat.

We have no parking lot. Please park on the street and pay close attention to posted signs. The lot at the corner of Ventura and Balboa is for the businesses in that area.
